The Lead - Technical Documentation will develop and maintain processes for technical documentation, including user manuals for machines, while leading a documentation team and coordinating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

·Qualification - Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Plastics / Electrical / Production

·As a Lead -Technical Documentation, candidate will develop, maintain and continuously up-grade the processes for product technical write-up and content creation in co-ordination with engineering and cross-functional team for machine user’s manuals

· Experience: 12-15 years with knowledge of technical documentation process & handling instruction manuals preferably in field of machines / capital equipment manufacturing industries (Knowledge/experience in the field of Plastic Processing Machinery will be an added advantage)

· Technical Writing, Illustration & content creation for Manuals of Injection Moulding & Extrusion machines by using applicable software, PLM/ERP system, and different IT tools for machine operation, safety and maintenance instructions for machine users

· Handling documentation team for preparation and up-dation of user’s manuals, pre-installation and service parts manuals for new products, existing products and special machines with various machine safety standards

- Handling drawing office team for managing controlled documents and printing equipments

· Digitization & Automization of technical documentation preparation and change management process

·Co-ordination and interactions with stakeholders, internal customers and group companies (US & Europe) for documentation

·Skills Set:

o Technical Writing, Illustration & content creation

o Infographics

o IT System tools & applications – XML, Arbortext (PTC Solution), Adobe FrameMaker (Adobe Solution) etc.

o Leadership & Effective communication

o Team development
