About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Technical Account Manager to own Sully.ai’s most strategic customer relationships. You will lead the post-sale lifecycle for health systems and payers—driving onboarding, adoption, retention, and expansion. This role is equal parts builder and operator: you’ll define scalable customer success systems while personally delivering technical outcomes for high-value accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding for health system and payer accounts, translating workflows into implementation plans and ensuring fast, compliant go-lives.

  • Own executive-level business reviews, renewals, and expansion conversations to drive Net Revenue Retention.

  • Monitor account health, proactively mitigate churn risk, and surface upsell opportunities through adoption metrics and customer feedback.

  • Build scalable playbooks, KPIs, and tooling (CRM, analytics dashboards, documentation) to strengthen TAM effectiveness.

  • Represent customer needs in product roadmap decisions and resolve technical blockers in collaboration with engineering.

  • Mentor and grow the technical account management team while directly managing key accounts.

Hard Requirements

  • 7+ years in customer-facing technical roles, ideally in B2B/enterprise SaaS with large contracts.

  • Proven success in owning post-sale outcomes: onboarding, adoption, renewals, and expansions.

  • Strong technical aptitude: APIs, integrations, compliance workflows, and data security.

  • Track record of working cross-functionally with engineering and product to solve customer problems.

  • Ownership mindset: fast, decisive, accountable, and comfortable with ambiguity.

Nice-to-Have

  • Healthcare or health tech experience (compliance, procurement, buyer cycles).

  • Exposure to AI/LLMs, workflow automation, or regulated deployments.

  • Proficiency with analytics and customer health measurement tools.

First-Month Focus

  • Audit current strategic accounts for adoption, expansion opportunities, and risk factors.

  • Deliver successful onboarding for at least one major health system or payer.

  • Define initial KPI framework (NRR, adoption velocity, time-to-value, churn risk).

Success OKRs (90 Days)

  • Increase adoption velocity across top accounts by [Hiring Manager to provide % target].

  • Deliver expansion or renewal wins totaling [Hiring Manager to provide $/ARR target].

  • Establish repeatable playbook for onboarding and account health monitoring.
