In this role, you will be responsible for the development, qualification, and support of propulsion turbine engine control systems and associated development equipment. These complex systems serve as part of full‑authority digital engine control (FADEC) systems, especially the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), and related hardware/software elements. 

As a Lead Systems Engineer, you will serve as a technical focal point, drive systems architecture and integration, guide team members, and ensure controls systems meet the needs of both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end‑to‑end systems integration and architecture development for propulsion controls, ensuring strong traceability between requirements, control logic, and verification methods.
  • Develop and maintain requirements matrices, test strategies, and documentation alignment consistent with MBSE practices.
  • Partner across functions to ensure unified control strategies and program convergence.
  • Provide dependable customer‑focused troubleshooting.
  • Lead field issue investigations, drive RCCAs, and support coordinated communication with airframers, operators, and field service engineering.
  • Mentor engineers through technical investigations, testing, review preparation, and design rationale.
  • Support organization’s cross‑team collaboration norms and agile development process.
  • Manage planning, schedule alignment, and readiness activities across agile releases and engineering milestones.
Qualifications

US CITIZEN REQUIREMENT

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
  • 5+ years engineering experience
