As a Systems Engineer (manipulations) you will be responsible for:


  • Support the design, development, integration, and validation of advanced robotic arm systems.
  • Drive systems engineering activities across mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces.
  • Define and manage system architectures, requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Lead cross-functional integration efforts to ensure seamless performance across subsystems.
  • Develop and maintain engineering processes, technical documentation, and design reviews.
  • Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and drive root-cause analysis activities.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware, controls, software, and product development teams.
  • Contribute to product development from concept through deployment.
  • Make informed technical decisions and recommendations in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering documentation, processes, and product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.), from a technical college or university in an Engineering field.
  • 5+ years of System Engineering experience and electro-mechanical device experience (robotics is a plus)
  • Experience with system documentation including Trade Studies, interface control documents, and ConOps
  • Experience tailoring system engineering processes to balance level of SE effort to product/system needs.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously.

Location: North Reading, MA

Salary Range: $140,000 - $190,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
