Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America seeks a Lead Systems Analyst at our office in Charlotte, NC to approve the scope of systems with prior system knowledge that helps in development/modification of the systems aiming to improve business outcomes. Approve system designs, process flows, models, and procedures and viable studies to design appropriate system solutions. Create and optimize processes involved in system design and development process. Manage the changes to existing system logic difficulties and document them as needed. Architectural review of system designs, guide the system users for improvements and support the operation, maintenance, and development of the system. Conduct Proof of Concepts (POC) utilizing new frameworks and products. Evaluate all system bottlenecks, implications, and consequences of various proposed system changes. Create procedures to solve complex problems that considers hardware equipment capacity, operating time, limitations, and expected results. Analyze, review and manage infrastructure changes for lower environments and ensure they are scheduled for the designated window, have valid implementation, and backout plan. Facilitate meetings to review infrastructure changes in the test environments. Analyze and schedule server patching programs to address the security vulnerabilities flagged by cyber security teams. Backfill the lower environments and ensure they are on par with production. Create custom data and monitor data rewind jobs to support the business users using the Corporate Training Environment. Coordinate the migration of enterprise apps from legacy infrastructure to cloud. Mentor and delegates work to lower-level team members.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study and 5 years of experience as Business Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analysis Specialist, Team Lead, IT Consultant, or related occupation. Alternatively, the company will accept a Master's degree in an accepted field and 2 years of accepted experience.

Salary range: The offered salary for this specific position is at least $127,171 per year. Please note that the base pay range shown below is a general salary range for similar occupations within the company, and does not apply to this specific position.

Base Pay Range: $103,500/yr. - $167,600/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
