Lead Supplier Quality Engineer (Based in HaiPhong)

The Role: The Lead Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for setting up and releasing manufacturing quality/processes for new projects awarded to ODM suppliers. The role focuses on improving ODM supplier performance, primarily concerning quality, cost, and delivery. The individual will lead the process validation and product qualification, manage mass production quality, handle customer complaints, and conduct continuous improvement projects with contract manufacturing suppliers. Your Contribution: - Manage a few key suppliers effectively at the same time. - Set up and release manufacturing quality/processes for new projects awarded to ODM suppliers. - Monitor and drive the continuous improvement of ODM supplier quality during mass production. - Lead continuous improvement projects in suppliers to enhance quality and productivity. - Lead the development of supplier overall performance based on Logitech's ODM supplier development strategy and quarterly scorecard results. - Lead the new supplier qualification process. - Support GSM in achieving CR CIP success at ODM suppliers. Your Qualifications and Skills: - Hands-on experience in supplier development on quality and process, with necessary SMT and assembly line experience. - Professional in quality tools and methodologies (PFMEA, PMP Plan, SPC, GR&R, 6-sigma, etc.), with experience utilizing them for NPI and quality continual improvement in mass production. - Experience in supplier quality process audits is preferred. - Experience in electronic product or mechanical part process/quality control is preferred. - Experience in productivity improvement using IE methodology is preferred. - Demonstrated leadership in supplier performance improvement. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (PDCA, DMAIC). - Ability to work in a cross-functional and global team environment. - Strong ownership and passion for excellence with high integrity, commitment to quality. - Fluent in oral and written English, willing to take frequent travel. - Sense of urgency and high resilience level.
