As a Lead Solutions Analyst at JP Morgan Chase’s Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data platform (AMDP) team, you will play a central role in driving the success of our technical program delivery. Your deep understanding of applications, platforms, and products will position you as a key bridge between product owners, business, operations, and software developers. Utilizing advanced analytical reasoning and technical fluency, you will translate complex business requirements into well-structured and technically feasible solutions. You will make data-informed decisions and provide strategic insights to support key business initiatives. 

 

As a technical subject matter expert, you'll navigate ambiguity, manage change effectively, and communicate compellingly with diverse stakeholder audiences to ensure the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery. Responsibilities include evaluating existing processes, offering solutions to drive business value, and ensuring project success under tight timelines. The position also includes mentoring junior analysts, leading cross-departmental projects, and fostering innovation. Strong analytical and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of software development life cycles, are essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment.


Job responsibilities
 

  • Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business and data flow requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and technical feasibility
  • Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate requirements synthesis and solution optioning, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
  • Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for analysis and documentation across the team, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract insights from large, diverse datasets, driving data-informed decision-making and supporting key business initiatives
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate data analysis documentation for reference purposes
  • Identify redundancies, automation opportunities, process inefficiencies and provide solutions
  • Identify potential risks and escalate issues as required.
  • Continuously explore opportunities to improve application functionality, making recommendations for enhancements.
  • Influence- Experience influencing senior leaders, finance teams and technology contributors, adept at articulating complex problems to all levels.
  • Proficient in designing and wireframing UI improvements that enhance user experiences.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
 

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and data application, including hands-on experience with major data visualization platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of data analytics techniques, with experience in developing and interpreting models, diagrams, and data-driven insights
  • Proficiency in working with SQL databases, including the development and optimization of procedures and views to enhance data management and retrieval processes
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support solutions analysis workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted analyses and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
  • Strong track record of leading through change, navigating ambiguous situations, and managing dependencies in complex projects
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to think critically, embrace new technologies, and balance stakeholder needs with user requirements.
  • Hands on experience using SDLC tools, such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Hands on experience with dashboards and data visualization tools

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
 

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering related field; or equivalent related professional experience
  • Dashboard development with Tableau 
  • Data Warehousing and Data Lake experience
  • Experience in aggregating and transforming data for optimized reporting
