Job Description

• Ability to Lead a POD, Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases of the POD, guide, mentor and coordinate QA team members accordingly. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure business requirement completeness
• Ability to understand the holistic requirements(functional and non functional), review and analyze stories, specifications, and technical design documents and develop detailed test cases and test data to ensure business functionality is thoroughly tested - Automation & Manual
• Expertise in designing and building automation frameworks, scripting and execution, maturity to consider cross-functional feedback while designing.
• Hands-on with test preparation, scripting, and execution in the Agile and DevOps environment
• Ensure maximum feasible automation coverage after each sprint.
• Preparation, scripting, review and update of test cases and relevant test data consistent with system requirements including functional, integration & regression
• Be proactive and follow Shift-left testing approach in identifying the issues early and following up on them efficiently
• Support quality assurance initiatives and help institutionalize best practices

Qualifications

• Strong SDLC experience using Agile methodologies is a MUST 
• Technically strong with hands-on experience on Python and its libraries is a MUST
• Experience with the Microservices Architectures using Cloud services (preferably AWS services) is a MUST
• Experience with RESTful APIs using Python web frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI is highly preferred
• Experience in writing relatively complex DB queries (in SQLServer, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MySQL)
• Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of managing the change and triaging of issues by relevant business priorities by collaborating with the stakeholders 
• Key traits/skills for this role include change management, effective communication skills, being customer-focused, assertiveness, and strong critical thinking capabilities to solve problems
• Capable of setting/resetting priorities/expectations backed by data points; and defining/ ensuring the adherence to standard processes
• Proven track record of maintaining and further improving the quality of the software while continuously enhancing/refactoring it
• Experience owning the maintenance of a software platform/application with multiple modules
• Experience in working in any of the ORM tools such as SQLAlchemy
• Sound understanding of Agile Software Development methodology with good experience of working with multiple teams in Scrum based models
• Experience in data warehousing and large volume data processing is highly preferred
• Experience with web front-end frameworks, e.g. Angular/React, is highly preferred
• Experience in Java/Scala is highly preferre
• Good understanding of DevOps and associated tools along with engineering experience applying DevOps and CI/CD concepts in Agile software development
