About Us
We’re a stealth startup building foundational reinforcement learning (RL) and autonomy
software to power the future of intelligent vehicles. Our focus is on enabling real-time
decision-making for multi-agent coordination in constrained, high-stakes domains—
airspace, cities, and beyond. Backed by leading investors and domain experts, we’re
assembling a world-class technical team to push the boundaries of applied RL and
autonomy.
The Role
As our Software Engineer, you'll be one of the first technical hires. You’ll drive the
architecture and development of our autonomy software stack—from simulation
environments and model integration to real-time deployment infrastructure. You’ll also
design testing strategies to validate our software in both virtual and physical environments.
You’ll work closely with the founders and ML/RL engineers to ensure our systems are
reliable, scalable, and performant. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who
wants to help define and build a new generation of intelligent systems.
What You'll Do
• Lead architecture and implementation of our autonomy software infrastructure
• Design and build interfaces between core RL/ML models and real-time vehicle systems
• Develop CI pipelines, simulation testbeds, and telemetry tools for robust testing and iteration
• Own software deployment infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, ROS2, or equivalent)
• Collaborate with ML and robotics engineers to integrate decision and control logic
• Contribute to early technical decisions and shape the company’s engineering cultureWhat We're Looking For
• 5+ years experience in software engineering with systems-level responsibility
• Strong background in backend systems, distributed computing, or real-time robotics
• Fluency in C++, Rust, or Go, with strong Python skills for integration and tooling
• Experience deploying complex systems in production or safety-critical settings
• Exposure to reinforcement learning, planning, or robotics (a plus, not required)
• Excellent judgment, autonomy, and ability to own complex technical problems
Nice to Have
• Experience in simulation frameworks (e.g. Isaac Sim, Gazebo, AirSim)
• Familiarity with real-time systems, embedded platforms, or robotics middleware
• Prior experience in autonomy, aerospace, or defense-related applications
Why Join Us?
• Be a founding engineer on a mission-driven team
• Solve technically hard problems with real-world impact
• Work across autonomy, ML, systems, and real-time control
• Help shape the future of intelligent coordination in the physical world
