Job Summary

Concentrix is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team onsite in Omaha, Nebraska, five days per week.

This role is ideal for a hands-on Technical Lead or Architect with strong expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, React, microservices, REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.

In this role, you will lead enterprise application design and development, make key technical decisions, guide engineering teams, and partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and React.
• Design, build, and enhance scalable microservices and REST APIs.
• Apply microservices architecture principles, design patterns, and modern engineering best practices.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams.
• Participate directly in development activities and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Define application, component, API, integration, and solution design approaches.
• Support modernization, enhancement, and rewrite initiatives for legacy applications.
• Design and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Conduct design reviews and code reviews to ensure engineering quality, maintainability, and consistency.
• Partner closely with business, product, architecture, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Create technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, resiliency, and maintainability expectations.
• Champion strong development practices, continuous improvement, and overall engineering excellence.
• Work onsite in Omaha, Nebraska, five days per week to support collaboration, delivery, and team alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a Technical Lead or Architect role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and modern front-end development.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, design principles, and patterns.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, software design principles, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with relational databases and enterprise application development.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and guide development teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Omaha, Nebraska, five days per week.
• Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, and Identity and Access Management is a plus.

The base salary for this position is $106,087 -$155,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
