JOB DESIGNATION/ROLE/POSITION : Ruby On Rails Lead
Experience: 4-6 years
JOB LOCATION : Hyderabad - Immediate Opening
Job Description:
- Experienced in leading a team of 5 and full stack developer with at least 4-5 years of hands on experience.
- Program and develop ruby on rails applications.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, ReactJS
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap.
- Good knowledge of Rails framework: ActiveRecord, ActiveSupport, Mongoid, Device, OmniAuth, RubyMotion.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Additional Information• Minimum 5 years’ experience designing and implementing end-to-end enterprise grade software.
• Solid knowledge of the Java programming language
• Knowledge of design patterns (MVC, Strategy, Factory, Singleton) and general design considerations.
• Experience with application servers, web servers (Apache) and servlet containers such as Tomcat or Jetty
• Experience using open source libraries and technologies such as Apache Solr, Zookeeper, etc…
• Proficient using UML (sequence, state, collaboration, class, use-case models).
• Proficient in SCM tools and best practices (GIT, Maven, Jenkins).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A creative thinker and experienced problem solver.
• Previous development experience using Java & JavaScript, REST Web Services, NoSQL databases (e.g. Mongo DB, Couch DB, Cassandra), JSON, XML as well as caching technologies such as Memcached, Terracotta or ehCache
Skills Required
- 4-6 years (minimum 5 years) experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade software
- Experience leading a team of ~5 developers
- Hands-on Ruby on Rails development and application programming
- Proficient in JavaScript and frameworks (jQuery, ReactJS)
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap
- Familiarity with Rails internals and libraries (ActiveRecord, ActiveSupport, Devise, OmniAuth, Mongoid)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Solid knowledge of Java and Java-based web development
