Xtreme Manufacturing in Henderson, Nevada, is seeking candidates for our Lead Rebuild Associate position.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of rebuild associates & mechanics to efficiently disassemble, repair, and reassemble products according to company standards.
- Ensure all rebuild activities adhere to safety protocols and quality guidelines, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Coordinate daily workflows, prioritize tasks, and monitor progress to meet production targets.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the rebuild process to identify defects and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Train new team members on proper rebuild procedures, safety practices, and equipment use.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain accurate documentation of rebuild activities, including inspection reports and work logs.
Qualifications
- Keen sense of safety.
- Five (5) years of heavy equipment technician experience or equivalent.
- Must have clean driving record.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
- People skills and problem solving skills.
- Able to lead special projects around the facility.
- Ability to work with sales team to assist in the sales of rebuilt equipment.
- Possess the appropriate tools for the job.
Education
- High School diploma, GED or trade school equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand materials commonly used in the product service and maintenance function (service and parts manuals, technical bulletins, and other related articles).
Technical Training
- Certificate of technical training in job specific functions (i.e., engines, power train, hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, electrical codes, etc.).
- Proficient computer technology skills, including ability to utilize company authorized software.
- Minimum of (5) years of repair experience with overhead cranes, reach forklifts, telescoping boom lifts, scissor lifts, company vehicles and dirt equipment (primarily high reach equipment).
Work Environment
- Will be working in shop and outdoor environments.
- Exposure to extremes in temperature and weather.
Physical / Mental Abilities
- Professional attitude and appearance consistent with position and responsibilities.
- Must have agility and balance to safely climb on all machines.
