Raymond James is looking for an ideal candidate who is a strong developer and who can contribute immediately to Qlik development while continuing to expand their knowledge of Qlik Cloud and the broader Qlik technology ecosystem.

Job Description

This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: expected to be in a Raymond James office location three days per week, with at least one of those days being a Monday or a Friday.

Please note: This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.

Required

  • Demonstrated Qlik development experience, including Qlik Sense application development.

  • Strong Qlik scripting, data modeling, data transformation, and data pipeline development skills.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience integrating multiple enterprise data sources.

  • Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

  • Experience troubleshooting data, application, reload, and performance issues.

  • Understanding of development lifecycle practices including development, testing, deployment, and production support.

  • Proven track record of independently delivering technical solutions and achieving results.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies, platform capabilities, and development approaches.

Preferred

  • Qlik Cloud / Qlik SaaS development or administration experience.

  • Experience migrating or modernizing Qlik applications for cloud environments.

  • Qlik Application Automation or other workflow automation experience.

  • Qlik Data Gateway and cloud data connectivity experience.

  • REST API and systems integration experience.

  • Git, CI/CD, automation, or DevOps experience.

  • Understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, role-based access controls, and governed development environments.

  • Experience with additional Qlik capabilities beyond traditional application development.

  • General cloud platform and modern data architecture experience.

Additional Information:

This role requires more than dashboard development. The individual should be capable of working across the application lifecycle—from understanding requirements and accessing and transforming data through developing, testing, deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting solutions in production.

Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI (GenAI), automation, and data-driven decision-making. They will drive complex initiatives from requirements discovery and documentation through implementation while helping identify opportunities to leverage AI capabilities to improve business processes, operational efficiency, and client outcomes.

They should be able to work effectively with business stakeholders, developers, platform administrators, data teams, and other technology partners and should contribute to technical standards, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
