Lead Python Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Lead Python Engineer to join our team in Poland. 

Our customer is one of the world's largest food and beverage companies, operating in 189 countries with over 2000 brands. The company's diverse portfolio includes products such as bottled water, dairy products, breakfast cereals, coffee, confectionery, frozen food, pet foods, snacks, and baby food.

Our project aims to harness the power of AI to streamline organizational processes, enhance productivity, and foster innovation within the workplace. By integrating AI capabilities, the organization seeks to automate routine tasks, improve decision-making, and facilitate more efficient communication and collaboration among employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery team of 5-7 people to efficiently delivery AI project
• Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Python 3.10+
• Design, implement and maintain APIs following best practices of RESTful API
• Ensure code quality by adding unit, integration, and end-to-end tests 
• Create and maintain an  internal and external technical documentation
• Contribute to system design, participate in architectural discussions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes
• Ownership of the end-to-end solutions, including technical design, development, CI/CD process, infrastructure management, testing, and tech dept management. 
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, AI engineer, devops, architects, product managers, QAs, and designers to ensure seamless integration of features and functionalities
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments and provide timely resolutions to technical challenges
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, sharing your knowledge with the team to drive innovation and growth.
• Participate in pre-sale and discovery activities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Python programming (3.10+)
• In-depth knowledge of various API frameworks (REST - must, GraphQL - nice to have)
• Experience with FastAPI or similar
• Proficiency in utilizing testing frameworks to ensure code reliability and maintainability
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud provider
• Knowledge of SQL databases, especially MS SQL/Azure SQL
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with AI models, especially OpenAI LLMs
• Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries (Langchain, Pytorch, etc)
• Familiarity with developing LLM agents
• CI/CD familiarity (Azure Pipelines, Github Actions)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes
