Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using scheduling software tools.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Prepare regular status reports and communicate schedule updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets.
- Monitor and track project expenditures.
- Support the analysis of cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Contribute to the development of cost control policies and procedures.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of professional experience in Project Controls or Project Planning & Controls roles.
- Experience in leading scheduling efforts on engineering projects over $500,000 and construction projects over $5M.
- Proven track record in handling complex financial data sets and integrating them into existing MS Project dashboards.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the procurement process and the ability to translate data into tracking tools.
- Experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud, Primavera P6, or MS Project scheduling software.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including data analysis, conditional formatting, data validation, and pivot tables.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including the creation and utilization of complex formulas, lookup functions, and integration of data sets into existing Excel files.
- General understanding of Power BI, with future utilization of Power BI dashboards.
- Experience with multiple ERP systems, including Deltek Vision and/or VantagePoint.
- PSP and/or AACE certifications are a plus but not required.
