As a Lead Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination. You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Program Manager and you will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have an impact on the company's success by ensuring the successful execution and delivery of complex engineering projects within the NG FMS/BGH FMS Integrated Product Team. You will contribute to the development of cutting-edge flight management system capabilities that power innovative solutions in the aerospace industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 4+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience in risk management and problem-solving
