Eaton's IS VEH Power Connections division is currently seeking a Lead Product Sales Engineer. This role is based at our Southfield, MI facility and offers a hybrid working schedule.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Position Overview:

The Lead Product Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting a key customer account and the overall day-to-day business relationship between Power Connections and this key customer. You will report to the Dir of Sales & Marketing and will be responsible for supporting and promoting Power Connections products and solutions within the assigned territory. You will work together with entire Power Connections Sales & Engineering teams to drive maximum penetration of Power Connections products cross OEM's & Tiers. • Learn Power Connections products, capabilities and value add options• Work as a member of the OEM DRE team to support product and platform launch execution• Develop and maintain relationships at multiple levels in the customer base to for RPS to be strategic• Serve as the initial Power Connections face to customer located onsite at OEM office• Assist Program / Platform teams in defining requirements, design evaluations, and validation• Manage Sample Orders, Tracking, and Delivery• OEM / WERS / TC Tracking, Release and Management• Release Drawings, Part Numbers, write Work Orders, manage 5-Phases, Open Issues• Effectively communicate with all other automotive team members to promote the business needs of the territory to foster growth

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum five (5) years of engineering experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position. Only candidates currently residing within a 50-mile radius of the work location (Southfield, MI) will be considered. Active-Duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university
  • Experience in a sales engineering, applications engineering or similar role, working with OEMs.
  • Experience working with EV/High Voltage/Connectors

  • Ability and willingness to travel as required
