The Role:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, guiding them in developing and executing product strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring prioritization aligns with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Oversee and contribute to the creation of functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, with a focus on delivering high-quality features.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to define and refine the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term vision.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives, working with engineering leads, UX, marketing, customer success, sales, and customer groups to solve complex product challenges and deliver market-leading solutions.
  • Engage in customer discovery to identify new requirements, ensuring the product evolves to meet customer needs and market trends.
  • Lead and facilitate scrum meetings, product sprints, and other agile ceremonies to ensure efficient and effective product development processes.
  • Guide UX team members within the product group, ensuring that the product’s user experience meets high standards of usability and design.
  • Leverage your technical background to make informed decisions on product design, architecture, and implementation strategies.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in project management, ensuring timely delivery of features and products that meet quality standards.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and excellence within the product team.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager within a SaaS product company, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing other PMs.
  • Proven experience in managing product backlogs, roadmaps, and cross-functional product development processes using tools like Jira.
  • Strong background in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing product teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex product challenges.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, UX, marketing, customer success, sales, and customer groups.
  • Experience conducting customer discovery to identify new requirements and drive product innovation.
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment, with a strong desire to contribute to a high-energy, growth-driven team.
  • Bonus: Background in martech, with a deep understanding of marketing technologies and the unique challenges and opportunities in this space.
