Lead Product Designer

We are looking for two lead product designers to help shape the future of Midnite’s product experience across both our customer-facing surfaces (iOS, Android, Web) and the platform our internal teams use everyday. These are key roles in defining how our products look, feel and work, bringing clarity, craft and ambition to complex problems and helping raise the standard for design across Midnite.

You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers and other designers to shape strategy, understand user needs and deliver thoughtful, high-quality product experiences. Whether focused on customer journeys or internal workflows, your work will have wide-reaching impact, influencing how teams operate and how customers experience Midnite as we scale.

• Shape the future vision for your product area or platform. You’ll define where the experience needs to go, bringing structure to complex spaces and guiding teams towards the opportunities with the highest long-term value. Your direction will help shape product strategy, not just respond to it.
• Craft world-class, intuitive interfaces. You’ll design clear, consistent and elegant experiences across workflows and interactions. You create interactions that feel effortless and apply strong judgement about where to polish custom UI vs when to lean on native patterns to move quickly.
• Balance pace with long-term impact. You’ll know when to iterate rapidly to unlock learning and momentum, and when to invest in strengthen long-term foundations. You’ll help teams focus on where design can create the greatest leverage, never shying away from the next incremental step to move things forward.
• Drive meaningful customer outcomes alongside commercial success. You’ll advocate for the people who use our products, ensuring their needs shape decisions and quality standards. You’ll design solutions that improve their everyday experience while supporting the commercial goals that help Midnite grow.
• Partner effectively with product, engineering and marketing. You’ll collaborate closely across disciplines, bringing the right people into the process at the right time. You’ll use insight, structured thinking and prototypes to accelerate alignment, cut complexity and guide decision making.
• Raise the bar for design at Midnite. You’ll elevate design quality through your craft and through thoughtful critique. You’ll help shape rituals and standards that ensure coherence and consistency across surfaces, and guide other designers through influence and mentorship rather than formal management.
• Drive design system direction and improvements. You’ll contribute to and evolve our design system, shaping the patterns that underpin our product experience. Prior ownership of a full system is a strong plus, but what matters most is effective contribution and sound systems thinking.
• Combine an AI-forward approach with modern design tools. You’ll pair solid Figma craft with AI-assisted workflows to explore more widely, iterate more quickly and reach high-fidelity solutions with fewer constraints. You will use AI where it accelerates progress without compromising judgement.
• Operate with platform-level ownership. You’ll take responsibility for design quality across your area, not just the work you personally deliver. You’ll help ensure the product feels cohesive, intentional and reliable, providing clarity that amplifies the impact of the teams and designers around you. clear direction for the back-office platform and shaping how it evolves as Midnite grows.
