Job Summary: The Lead Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting the project schedule for ABICON's scope of work, coordinating progress measurement and ensuring schedule risks are identified and communicated to project management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the baseline and progressive project schedule (Primavera P6) for ABICON scope. Supervise Planners and consolidate discipline-level schedules into an integrated master schedule. Monitor progress and update the schedule based on site input and productivity data. Conduct schedule variance and critical path analysis, highlighting delays and risks. Prepare progress curves (S-curves), histograms, and progress reports for management and the client. Coordinate with construction, procurement, and engineering on schedule interfaces. Support what-if scenarios and recovery schedule development. Ensure progress measurement methodology is applied consistently across disciplines. Support preparation of look-ahead schedules (weekly/monthly) for site execution. Coordinate schedule-related information for change orders/claims. Present schedule status in progress meetings. Maintain schedule documentation and historical records for lessons learned.
Requirements
Experience: +10 years of experience in planning/scheduling on EPC or construction projects, including team leadership experience.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
