Job Description:Avanceon is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UAE market. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of automation and control system projects. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
Job Responsibilities:- Complete project management starting from post-bid to delivery.
- Must be capable of developing the Engineering deliverables as per project specification and client requirement.
- Identify the scope of work, list of engineering documents deliverables and communicate to other supporting departments.
- Single point of contact between Avanceon and client.
- Arrange client KOM and coordinate with internal team.
- Submission of progress report to client on agreed time frame.
- Conduct regular project progress meeting with internal stake holders.
- Attend client progress review meetings and liaise the expectation to internal team.
- Review of sub-vendor offers and provide delivery recommendation to procurement department.
- Raising the purchase order request (IR) in portal.
- Monitor the execution of the work, identifying any risks or opportunities in a timely manner.
- Coordinate for PIM with client, internal QC and vendor to ensure timely startup of fabrication activities.
- Coordinate with sub-contractor for timely completion of fabrication and integration activities.
- Coordinate with client / internal testing engineer to make sure FAT completed successfully.
- Coordinate internal team / vendor towards closure of punch points and get the IRN for on time delivery.
- Ensure that the work is carried out in a professional manner and in compliance with applicable contracts, Company policies and relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify areas of concern with respect to progress of assigned projects and recommend corrective action wherever required.
- Arranginging and attending all meeting in a project (interdepartmental or with clients)
- To perform all tasks required in the initiation, execution and closure of the project.
Qualification / Requirement:
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Chemical or any degree with a relevant experience from a reputed university with good academic record.
- Experience Requirement: 5 to 7 Years.
- Work experience in handling individual projects starting from post order to delivery.
- Co-ordination with cross functional departments in ensuring the project is delivered on time.
- Co-ordination with clients, sub-vendors and other project stakeholders.
- Working experience in chemical dosing packages, water treatment packages, Oil & Gas skid packages would be preferred.
- Exposure to Saudi Aramco/ADNOC/PDO/Shell/QE Energy company specifications would be considered as added advantage.
- Exposure to international standards for pumps, tanks, piping, valves, etc., is essential.
- Basic exposure on reading skid GA drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Familiar with all kinds of equipment, piping, electrical and instrumentation symbols as per IEC and ISA.
- Having UAE driving license is added advantage.
- Soft Skills o Familiarity in Project management software like MS project.
- Familiarity in MS-office.
- Familiarity in ERP.
Skills Required
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical, or a relevant degree with relevant experience
- 7 to 9 years of professional experience
- Experience handling individual projects from post-order through delivery
- Experience coordinating cross-functional departments to deliver projects on time
- Experience coordinating with clients, sub-vendors, and project stakeholders
- Experience with international standards for pumps, tanks, piping, and valves
- Ability to read skid general arrangement and fabrication drawings
- Familiarity with equipment, piping, electrical, and instrumentation symbols under IEC and ISA
