Lead Mulesoft Consultant

 

We currently have a career opportunity for a Lead Mulesoft Consultant to join our team. We are looking for a Lead Mulesoft Developer who is passionate about enterprise integration and API delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MuleSoft, API design, and cloud integration, with a focus on connecting critical business systems in the automotive industry. As a Lead Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead API and integration design for enterprise platforms across cloud, hybrid, and on premise environments.
• Build MuleSoft solutions using API-led connectivity, reusable assets, and secure integration patterns.
• Integrate source and target systems such as ERP, CRM, HR, data platforms, and legacy back-office applications.
• Own nonfunctional quality including performance, resilience, observability, and  deployment readiness.
• Guide CI/CD practices for MuleSoft applications and support release automation in 
  tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Partner with architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate 
  process needs into scalable APIs.
• Coach engineers on design patterns, troubleshooting, and production support for 
  integration services.
• Support modernization work by refactoring older Mule runtimes or adjacent 
  middleware into maintainable services

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years building enterprise integrations, including 3+ years delivering MuleSoft applications in production.
• Strong hands-on experience with Anypoint Platform, API design, DataWeave, REST, and integration troubleshooting.
• Experience with CloudHub, Runtime Manager, API Manager, and deployment patterns across cloud or hybrid environments.
• Working knowledge of Java or Spring for backend integration scenarios and custom components.
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake, SAP, or other business platforms.
• Comfort with CI/CD, source control, and release pipelines; preferred: Azure DevOps or similar tooling.
• Strong English communication for client-facing collaboration. Preferred: MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 or related integration certification.
• Preferred: automotive domain exposure across manufacturing, dealer systems, supply chain, warranty, telematics, or aftersales workflows

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential variable compensation programs.
