We are looking for a Lead ML Engineer who will drive the technical vision and architecture of ML systems, lead and mentor the team, align AI initiatives with business strategy, and take ownership of complex initiatives that combine hands-on expertise with strategic impact.
Range of tasks:
- Lead and mentor the ML team, support cross-functional collaboration, and contribute to a high-performance culture.
- Define and oversee the technical and architectural vision of ML systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ML models and LLM solutions for NLP and vision, including image generation and chatbots.
- Integrate AI models into systems and experiment with new techniques to improve performance.
- Take ownership of complex initiatives combining hands-on expertise with strategic impact.
- Act as liaison between ML and business stakeholders, aligning AI initiatives with strategy.
- Represent the company in collaborations with key technology partners such as Nebius and ByteDance.
- Develop technical documentation.
What hard-skills are important to us:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with AI and machine learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Expertise in training, fine-tuning, and optimizing language models (LLMs).
- Familiarity with efficient data storage, on-device processing, and minimal resource consumption.
- Experience in solving NLP problems with Machine Learning, LLM;
- Experience with LLM — integration, fine tuning, hosting. Experience with OpenAI ChatGPT, lama;
- Knowledge of Retrieval Augmentation Generation (RAG) and semantic vector search;
- Experience with image generation models including Stable Diffusion and Flux;
- Experience in prompt engineering LLM.
