This position is responsible for performing and supporting activities associated with development, design and fabrication of test equipment for E&PS Product line. A Lead test engineer coordinates efforts of a large team of designers and muti-discipline teams to develop and integrate a safe, optimal, and reliable test solution for our customers. Imagine, design, and develop but not limited to test cells, test stands, and special test equipment as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Computer Aid Design (CAD)
- Advanced drawing interpretation, ASME Y14 series
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Lead Conceptual Design, Preliminary Design and Detailed Design phases.
- Lead Designer for Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews (PDR/CDR)
- Design for Manufacturing and cost estimation
- Identify client Critical To Quality (CTQ)
- Milestone compliance
- Collaboration across Honeywell Aerospace engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Engineering master’s degree is a plus
- 10+ years of mechanical design engineering experience.
