Job Summary:
The Lead LP Associate manages relationships with Limited Partners (LPs) and leads the onboarding process for new LP clients. This role collaborates with clients and internal teams to develop tailored solutions for LPs' investment accounting, performance measurement, compliance monitoring, and reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the firm's value proposition for LPs, clearly communicating benefits and capabilities to clients.
- Lead client onboarding using established methodologies, ensuring solutions align with client needs and internal processes.
- Provide training and ongoing support to LP clients on available services and reporting tools.
- Own project workstreams end-to-end, communicating status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and escalating for timely resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve client issues during onboarding and service delivery, applying sound judgment to non-routine problems.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, building trust through accurate, responsive communication.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement enhancements within the team.
- Share expertise with colleagues through informal mentorship or occasional training sessions.
Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of investment accounting principles, with familiarity with LP structures.
- Working understanding of investment performance metrics, risk exposure, and valuation methodologies.
- Familiarity with alternative investments, private equity, or accounting/audit practices is a plus.
- Understanding of financial markets, including alternatives, derivatives, structured products, and fixed income.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL querying preferred.
- Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; works well cross-functionally.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in alternative investments, private equity, or LP relationships.
Boise Salary Range: $62,000 - $85,000 DOE
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
