Job Overview:
As a Lead Level 1, you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations by leading a team, coordinating workflow, and ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped safely and efficiently. Under the direction of the Department Manager, you will help drive productivity, maintain quality standards, support team development, and ensure company goals are achieved.
This role is ideal for someone with warehouse experience who is ready to grow their leadership skills and take the next step toward a Supervisor opportunity.
Compensation Range: $20.00 /Hourly
Compensation within range to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping activities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
- Verify product counts, inspect shipments for accuracy, and maintain quality standards
- Operate and promote safe use of material handling equipment
- Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and ensuring work is completed efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following OSHA and safety guidelines
- Train, coach, and support team members to improve performance and productivity
- Assist with inventory accuracy, physical counts, and recordkeeping
- Communicate effectively with warehouse teams, operations, vendors, and leadership
- Serve as a connection between team members and management
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bilingual required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of warehouse experience required
- Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred
- Experience with computers and material handling equipment preferred
- Must successfully complete a drug test
