Summary Generated by Built In
Are you ready to play a key role in shaping how engineering data and processes are managed in a global organisation during a major transformation?
Then join us for a position where you will gain deep insight into how large, global organisations drive change across engineering, digital processes and SAP-based solutions.

Responsibilities / Tasks

You will join the Engineering to Design (E2D) community within the Transform360 programme, working closely with a network of end and key users as well as programme leads and functional experts across the division.

The environment is characterised by a shared responsibility for enabling change and a strong focus on supporting others to succeed. Our success is driven by dialogue, trust and a common commitment to making new ways of working stick.

As a Lead Key User (LKU) E2D, your primary purpose is to ensure that E2D processes are clearly represented, effectively applied and continuously improved across the division – during both the programme phase and beyond. Taking ownership of embedding standardised E2D processes across daily operations, you will support change initiatives and help ensure that new solutions deliver value in practice.

In this, you will collaborate closely with our Template Tower, Data Tower and Workstream Leads, as well as our Division Implementation Manager and Test, Division Data and Data Coordinators, providing input on divisional data requirements and data quality.

Some of your key tasks will be to:

  • provide deep insight into local E2D business processes and assess business and legal requirements during fit-to-standard activities
  • coordinate and support the local key user community, including communication around testing and local involvement
  • contribute to the creation, validation and execution of test cases, including testing of solutions and SAP release upgrades
  • take responsibility for user mapping within the Engineering to Design area
  • facilitate the localisation of training and test materials, deliver trainings, and enable local ownership among key and end users.

Your Profile / Qualifications

You bring a transformation-oriented mindset and are comfortable navigating change in complex organisational and system landscapes. With a pragmatic and structured approach, you know how to balance divisional standards with local business realities while engaging stakeholders across functions to change status quo.

Furthermore, you are:

  • driven by a “division-first” perspective, while understanding and enabling local engineering and business needs
  • experienced in engineering environments, with strong functional and technical understanding of processes, business and IT systems (ideally including SAP ERP)
  • preferably experienced with engineering tools such as CAD, PDM/PLM systems and engineering data management – but this just an advantage, not a requirement
  • able to design and support engineering business processes within a complex engineering ecosystem
  • fluent in English and willing to travel as part of the role.
