M9 Solutions is seeking a Lead JavaFX Developer to work remotely on a government contract for a client located in Arlington, VA. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust level clearance.
Responsibilities
- Write code and conduct tests to develop a seamless user experience using JavaFX in conjunction with back end data and service layers while guiding a team through scaled delivery.
- Review existing code and designs while working closely with a diverse software development team.
- Focus on ensuring accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements.
- This is a hands-on development role that will offer exposure to the full development cycle while working closely with the business team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust level clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in UI development on Java; experience with UI development for desktop applications.
- Proficient in Java, JavaFX and the associated toolchain for development of enterprise applications.
- Experience with desktop User Interface development.
- Experience with web services.
- Understanding of modern software development practices: version control, issue trackers, automated documentation, etc.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Deep interest in delivering quality user experience to drive early adoption.
- Knowledge of user interface best practices.
- Familiarity with Java Swing.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues and optimize web applications.
- Experience with Health IT based research.
- Understanding of HL7.
- Statistical process controls, HRO, learning health systems.
- Understanding of Health IT systems development.
Full-Time Employee Compensation
- M9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, location, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Salary Range
$60,000—$180,000 USD
