You will be:
  • leading the technical delivery of new features from design through implementation and production,
  • collaborating with architects to ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with the overall technical strategy,
  • designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend applications using Java and Spring Boot,
  • driving improvements to platform architecture, engineering practices, and development standards,
  • monitoring, maintaining, and continuously improving production services,
  • participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment,
  • mentoring and supporting other developers through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and technical guidance,
  • contributing to architectural discussions and promoting technical excellence across the engineering team.


Your profile:
  • 7+ years of commercial experience in Java development, including experience in a technical leadership role,
  • strong hands-on experience with Java 17+,
  • solid knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL,
  • experience designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs,
  • practical experience with TDD, BDD, and automated testing,
  • strong understanding of object-oriented design, software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices,
  • experience working in Agile environments and within a DevOps culture,
  • practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery,
  • ability to lead technical discussions, make architectural decisions, and mentor development teams,
  • excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills,
  • good command of English (min. B2).
  • Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

  • experience with AWS cloud services,
  • familiarity with JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver, or similar testing frameworks,
  • knowledge of XML and JSON,
  • experience working with Unix/Linux and shell scripting,
  • experience with large-scale databases,
  • familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Tomcat, and Apache,
