As a Lead IT Analyst – Logistics in PT, you will ensure that our SAP Logistics, Transportation, Warehouse, and EDI systems are optimized for performance, reliability, and alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate across functional teams, support critical logistics processes, and contribute to strategic technology initiatives that enhance Honeywell’s global supply chain efficiency and competitiveness.

You will report directly to our Director, IT ERP Business Transformation, and work out of our Bucharest, Romania location on a Hybrid schedule. 

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the organization's technology strategies and projects, aligning them with business objectives. Your technical leadership will ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT systems, ultimately enhancing our competitive edge and operational efficiency. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze and optimize SAP Logistics (LE), Transportation Management (TMS/TMC), 3PL interfaces, and EDI integrations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Improve and support transportation, warehousing, and distribution IT systems to ensure stability, performance, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable, sustainable IT solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on logistics system designs to ensure alignment with business goals and Honeywell’s Global Design Model (GDM).
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to demonstrate solutions to business SMEs and super users.
  • Support functional data mapping, data validation, and logistics master data readiness.
  • Collaborate with COEs to assess security profile needs and map appropriate access roles based on future-state responsibilities.
  • Validate business operating models against GDM and ensure alignment across process streams.
  • Train super users to prepare them for UAT, BOAT, and deployment readiness activities; support end-user training execution.
  • Prepare and validate end-to-end (E2E) logistics testing scenarios, solution documentation, and testing coverage.
  • Identify risks and mitigation actions from readiness assessments; support go-live and hypercare activities.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 6+ years of IT analysis experience with a focus on Logistics, Transportation, or Warehousing systems.
  • Proficiency in SAP LE, TMS/TMC, 3PL integrations, EDI, or similar ERP logistics modules.
  • Experience supporting or delivering logistics technology projects, enhancements, or deployments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex logistics processes.
  • SAP certifications in S/4 Logistics, Signavio, Transportation, Warehouse Management, or related modules.
  • Experience working in complex, global logistics and distribution environments.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end logistics execution, including transportation, warehousing, and third‑party logistics.
  • Experience supporting system integrations, including EDI, 3PLs, carriers, and external logistics platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex logistics processes into clear system designs and business requirements.
  • Strong documentation, training, and communication skills.
  • Experience with structured testing methodologies, deployment readiness, and hypercare support.
