The Role

 

Overview:

TubeScience is looking for a highly creative and versatile Lead Graphic Designer to join our team!

You will work across a wide variety of projects to craft the visual language of our ads across social media platforms. You will be a strong and innovative graphic designer able to create high-quality work and build out ideas through a range of mediums with an emphasis on motion design. You will be leading the graphics team’s design thinking on projects, working hands-on and collaboratively to shape projects as they transition into production. You will conceive, create, and execute new ideas, innovate and automate graphic workflows, and continuously be willing to expand your skill set.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of motion and static graphic designers
  • Create visual content for social media platforms to engage customers, attract new audiences, and increase online traffic
  • Create unique graphic styles for multiple projects and clients and ensure all creative is aligned with digital advertising performance best practices
  • Research and implement new techniques aligned with industry standards and trends
  • Conceptualize and develop the visual language of a project from design to production
  • Coach the Graphics team and provide consistent feedback to develop skills
  • Onboard and train new hires
  • Collaborate with the team to help share the workload
  • Create motion graphics and templates for use in Adobe Premiere
  • Pay close attention to details such as a client Brand & Legal guidelines
  • Work closely with Post and Strategy Leads to create engaging content
  • Create and maintain organized project files and adhere to file management systems
  • Be open to feedback, changes, and rapid prototyping

Required Skills And Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience or Master's Degree or greater in Motion Design or related field
  • Experience managing people and teams and providing creative feedback
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and design best practices to attract, inform and engage consumers
  • Deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with the Creative Cloud Libraries system and creating Motion Graphics Templates 
  • Art direction experience for 2D, 3D and digital/print design layout
  • Experience with digital design (web, UI, social media platforms)
  • Image editing and photo manipulation skills
  • Knowledge of user-centered design
  • Good understanding of JavaScript for use in After Effects
  • Experience managing and collaborating with remote teams
  • Excellent attention to detail
