  • Overseeing the full development lifecycle of the game, from ideation to launch and beyond, designing, implementing, and optimizing game mechanics, ensuring the best player experience.
  • Leading the development of the more complex gameplay mechanics, systems and custom tools.
  • Balancing rapid prototyping and experimentation with a passion for long-term code quality, scalability, and performance.
  • Acting as an inspiration and a manager for a small team of developers in the studio.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Game Artists, and Marketing teams to create engaging gameplay experiences.
  • Constantly refining the code quality, optimizing game performance and ensuring high-quality, smooth experience across devices, platforms, and network conditions.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and knowledge sharing within the development team.

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • Strong programming skills, especially knowledge of Unity, C#
  • Working experience shipping live games, including a good understanding of game design and a feel for great user experience
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills
  • Proficiency in debugging, profiling and performance optimisation
  • Strong knowledge of game architecture and technologies
  • Good knowledge of SOLID principles and software development practices
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills and experience in mentoring other developers
