Job Summary:
As a Full-Stack Technology Lead in Client Onboarding within Asset & Wealth Management, you will use AI to solve business and technology challenges, automate manual workflows, and deliver secure, scalable solutions. You will lead technical delivery across the full stack, collaborating with architects and stakeholders to design and implement intelligent onboarding features. Your role is central to driving innovation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement. You will help shape team practices and elevate delivery standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply AI to identify and automate manual, repetitive, or friction-heavy onboarding processes
- Build and deliver end-to-end solutions across the AWS stack using Java, Python, and modern front-end frameworks
- Design, develop, and manage relational and NoSQL databases to support regulatory and operational needs
- Create APIs using REST and GraphQL patterns, integrating with serverless and managed AWS services
- Establish and coach AI-powered engineering practices for problem decomposition, solution design, and automation
- Develop reusable templates, libraries, and automation pipelines for the team
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to drive design decisions and secure approvals
- Ensure delivery meets functional, regulatory, and control requirements
- Set coding and design standards to promote disciplined delivery and production readiness
- Lead front-end delivery on AWS, including hosting SPAs and integrating client-side applications
- Drive stakeholder alignment and remove delivery blockers in a complex organizational environment
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to use AI as a tool for business process automation, problem decomposition, and solution design
- Hands-on full-stack engineering experience with Java, Python, and modern front-end frameworks (React or similar)
- Practical experience with database design and management across relational and NoSQL paradigms
- Experience designing and building APIs using REST and GraphQL patterns
- Deep knowledge of AWS serverless and managed services, including Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, DynamoDB, Aurora Serverless, S3, CloudFront, AppSync, CDK/CloudFormation, Amplify, OpenSearch, Secrets Manager, IAM, and CloudWatch
- Ability to compose AWS services into cohesive, secure, and scalable solutions
- Experience with front-end delivery on AWS, including hosting SPAs and configuring Amplify
- Proven track record of delivering technology change in regulated contexts with controls and traceability
- Effective stakeholder management and navigation of governance and approval processes
- Strong leadership in setting coding and design standards and promoting production readiness
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in Wealth Management, especially client onboarding processes and controls
- Prior delivery experience within Asset & Wealth Management organizations
- Familiarity with cross-functional operating models involving technology, operations, and risk/compliance
- Innovative mindset with a bias toward action and outcome-oriented problem-solving
- Collaborative team player with clear communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
