Lead Full Stack Developer (PHP)

We are looking for multiple PHP practitioners including Lead/Sr. developer/Full Stack Engineer roles with 4-10 years of experience. You will be responsible for leading one of such a cross-functional team that would be responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.  As a Lead Full Stack Engineer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility and be someone who can solve complex problems, think out of the box, and be motivated consistently.

In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. We are looking for proactive and highly motivated Technology Leaders having good interpersonal skills to work with our SCRUM team in order to deliver quality software products. Your goal will be to work with geographically spread technology teams to design, develop, and maintain software.

• This role will be an exemplary technical leader in your areas of expertise. You will be responsible for implementation (build / install / configure / upgrade / migrate) on the required platforms as per the design requirements.
  

• To interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
  

• To perform coding to written technical specifications.
  

• To perform code maintenance and testing.
  

• To fix application issues and code irregularities.
  

• To give technical feedback to the Application Architect. Correspond with and report to the Application Architect.
  

• Building and management of core or framework based PHP based applications.
  

• To develop web applications according to W3C standards using optimization techniques related to pages with more advanced graphics and features.
  

• To design and develop relational database systems and their web development IDEs.
  

• Responsible for integrating, optimising and basic DBA activities with MySQL, MariaDB and other relational databases with the web applications.
  

• Understanding of modern UI/UX trends using component based applications.
  

• Develop/Assist modules/features in PHP using best practices.
  

• Gathering requirements and developing new features, websites, and extensions in the Magento framework on windows or Linux platform, Writing well organized, robust code with maintainability and scalability in mind.
  

• Develop/Assist complex and high-end international web applications
  

• 4-10 year experience developing with MVC frameworks using PHP.
  

• Solid knowledge of AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  

• Experience in different ORM like propel,Eloquent
  

• Experience in different templating technologies especially xTemplate /blade/TWIG
  

• Knowledge of using version control (e.g. GIT).
  

• Experience in working with third-party APIs and web services.
  

• Experience with developing reporting interfaces (charts, data grids, filters, exporting).
  

• Experience of working with Relational Databases (MySQL) (queries, design and normalisation).
  

• Advanced OOP concepts, Design Patterns, Enterprise library and Software Engineering best practices.
  

• Experience in both Linux and Windows environment development.
  

• Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS).
  

• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation techniques preferred.
  

• XHTML and/or HTML5 coding is highly desirable.
  

• A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in a small team.
  

• Excellent communication skills and attention to details.
