Lead Front-End Developer

This role is strategic for the technical growth of Zeely. You will be responsible for the frontend architecture, make key technical decisions, mentor the team, and influence the quality and speed of product delivery.
As the leader of the engineering direction, you will become a driving force behind changes that directly impact the experience of hundreds of thousands of users.

Zeely AI is a platform that uses artificial intelligence to generate viral UGC videos and ad banners, as well as launch effective advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram — helping small businesses become visible and grow.

• Frontend: React, TypeScript

• Backend: NestJS, TypeScript, REST API

• Other: AWS (EC2, CloudFront, S3 as CDN), GitHub

• Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using React.js and other modern web technologies.

• Managing the Front-End team, creating development plans, and providing mentorship.

• Ensuring stability, performance, and optimization of existing and new features.

• Leading all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) — from concept to deployment.

• Working in a continuous delivery environment.

• Collaborating with designers and user researchers to ensure usability and intuitive user experience.

• Maintaining high code quality, including writing and reviewing unit tests and other types of testing.

• Taking full ownership of key technical decisions — from rationale to implementation.

• Writing technical documentation.

• Leading and managing the code review process, ensuring high standards of code quality.

• 3+ years as a Lead Developer / Department Lead / Team Lead.

• 6+ years of hands-on Front-End development experience.

• 4+ years of commercial React experience.

• Experience with Redux Toolkit (including RTK Query).

• Commercial experience with WebSockets, SSE.

• At least 1 year of experience with AWS (S3, CloudFront, etc.).

• Experience working with Stripe, Solidgate, or other payment/banking systems (1+ year).

• Understanding of scalable and reliable system design principles.

• Strong experience with Git and complex workflows.

• Strategic thinking and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Writing clean, readable, and efficient code.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

• Experience as a Full-Stack Developer.

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Next.js / Remix.

• AWS certification.

• Experience with styled-components.

• Experience working with charts (React-chartjs, Echarts, Highcharts, etc.).

• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

• Commercial experience in the AdTech domain.

• Hands-on experience with Mixpanel, Sentry, or similar analytics/monitoring tools.

• Experience with TanStack Query.

• Experience working with design systems (both ready-made and custom-built).

• Work with cutting-edge technologies and help develop AI-driven tools.

• Be part of a strong A-level team.

• Contribute to a product ranked among the top 5 players in its vertical on the U.S. market.
