The Corporate FP&A Lead Financial Analyst – OpEx (P4) is a strategic finance partner—driving analysis, forecasting, and operational expense insights that inform business decisions across Analog Devices. This high-impact role blends financial acumen with business strategy, supporting senior managers, business unit leaders, and cross-functional teams to advance enterprise priorities. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives on analytical depth, initiative, and communicating complex financial concepts with clarity and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Total ADI G&A OpEx Management:
- Lead the forecasting, trend analysis, and narrative development for ADI G&A operational expenses.
- Collaborate with business units and functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency in OpEx planning and execution.
- Trend Identification & Reporting:
- Apply advanced analytics to uncover short- and long-term expense trends.
- Deliver timely, data-driven insights to senior leadership, highlighting risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
- Benchmark performance against industry standards to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Ad-hoc Projects & Financial Analysis:
- Lead targeted financial analyses on strategic initiatives, market dynamics, and operational challenges.
- Provide decision support through deep dives into business issues and scenario modeling.
- Financial Reporting & Dashboards:
- Design and maintain dynamic dashboards and reporting packages that track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure reporting tools are scalable, intuitive, and aligned with evolving business needs.
- Continuous Process Improvement:
- Champion enhancements in forecasting, reporting, and planning processes.
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements to elevate the FP&A function and support enterprise-wide financial agility.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or related field. MBA or CFA designation is preferred. - Experience:
5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or FP&A. Prior experience supporting Corporate FP&A, investor relations, and/or experience in the semiconductor, technology, or manufacturing sectors is a plus. - Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends. Able to independently develop insights and provide actionable recommendations that drive business performance. - Technical Skills:
Expert in financial modeling through Excel, Anaplan and financial analysis tools. - Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data and insights to senior management, investors, and non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. - Attention to Detail:
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when analyzing demand trends, inventory data, and financial reports. - Business Acumen:
Solid understanding of business operations, cost structures, and profitability drivers, with a particular focus on inventory management and demand forecasting in a high-tech or manufacturing environment. - Team Player:
Ability to collaborate effectively across various functions, including operations, supply chain, and sales, to deliver comprehensive financial analysis and drive business performance.
