Lead, Finance Data and Analytics EMEA

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR: 

We are looking for a Financial System & Operations Manager to join our Finance Business Intelligence team at our EMEA headquarters in Hilversum.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON: 

If this is you, you will be managing the close & forecast related administration and reporting tasks in a complex system and process environment. You excel at delivering relevant, timely and accurate reports and analytical solutions to support the diverse EMEA Finance team in a dynamic business environment. You will partner with a wide array of Finance, Technology, and Finance Business Intelligence teams to run, develop, improve, and maintain reporting processes and reports. Some of the key activities include: 

• You will manage a direct team, leading, orienting, coaching and training your team members on achieving functional goals and providing opportunities for them to develop necessary skills  

• Manage close, forecast and budget related process, administration and reporting tasks to successfully report Nike EMEA’s financial results.  

• Manage the requests, process and creation of Financial masterdata to help support relevant and accurate financial reporting. 

• Actively expand, update, and upgrade the existing reporting & analytics portfolio to keep up with changing business dynamics, system upgrades and newly acquired business and technical insights. 

• Challenge the status quo, identify process improvement opportunities, and effectively translate business needs into new tools for financial analytics & reporting. 

• Collaborate on change initiatives and projects where financial reporting expertise is required.  

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH: 

In this role you will report to the Finance Business Intelligence Data & Insights Director. You will partner with a wide variety of EMEA Finance team members, in particular the Nike Direct and Business Planning Finance teams. You will work frequently with the Global Finance Business Intelligence team located at WHQ.  

WHAT YOU BRING: 

• Bachelor’s degree and/or masters degree in a finance, accounting or related field. Relevant work experience in a reporting or finance environment. 

• Experience in managing financial reporting processes. 

• Ability to manage requests from multiple stakeholders and proactively set and reset priorities.  

• Continuous improvement mindset: challenging the status quo.  

• Ability to lead a small team but also work independently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and continuously changing environment. 

• Detail-oriented, analytical, inquisitive, and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy. 

• Advanced user of Excel (various lookup methods, pivot table, VBA, PowerBI preferred). 

• Moderate user of MsAccess (mainly for data storage / data modelling). 

• Some experience preferred in; Tableau, SAP, Cognos-BI, SAP Business Warehouse, Snowflake.
