Lead Enterprise Architect – PAE FiresDescription

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA) is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect for a Key Personnel position supporting PAE Fires. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated relevant experience and will support MBSE-driven enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and complex systems lifecycle management across Army business and warfighter systems.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree (MA/MS) in a relevant technical, engineering, information technology, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools to the design, development, integration, implementation, and lifecycle management of complex systems
  • Experience using digital models to support system design, analysis, verification, validation, requirements traceability, and collaboration throughout the system lifecycle
  • Experience applying Digital Transformation technologies and practices, including Intelligent Automation, Hyperautomation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), workflow automation, or related technologies to improve operational efficiency
  • Experience supporting or facilitating the digital transformation of Army business and/or warfighter programs, including the adoption and integration of advanced digital technologies, processes, and engineering practices
  • Demonstrated ability to research, design, test, implement, integrate, and maintain automated information systems and technical architectures in accordance with DoD, Department of the Army, and higher-headquarters policies, standards, and directives
  • Working knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) concepts and viewpoints, including operational, systems, services, capability, data, technical, and overarching architecture perspectives
  • Experience supporting requirements analysis, system architecture, integration, verification and validation, and technical lifecycle activities
  • Current knowledge of modern hardware, software, automation, data, and systems-engineering technologies, with the ability to evaluate and recommend appropriate technical solutions
Clearance Required
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting PAE Fires, Army Fires, aviation, missile, air and missile defense, Mission Command, or related Army modernization programs
  • Knowledge of DoD and Army policies, standards, acquisition processes, logistics, configuration management, cybersecurity, networking, data management, and technology programs
  • Experience with DoD business transformation and modernization initiatives
  • Hands-on experience developing or maintaining DoDAF architecture products
  • Knowledge of Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA), Enterprise Transition Planning, Service-Oriented Architecture, and architecture federation strategies
  • Experience with one or more of the following tools: MagicDraw/Cameo, Teamwork Cloud, Syndeia, IBM DOORS, IBM Rational products, Windchill, Pure Variant, MATLAB, or Altair
  • Experience preparing technical briefings, reports, or responses for senior DoD leadership, GAO, OMB, or other government stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in the development, integration, maintenance, and modernization of enterprise architectures supporting PAE Fires
  • Support architecture efforts from initial planning and requirements analysis through design, integration, implementation, verification, validation, and lifecycle sustainment
  • Interface with government stakeholders, end users, engineering teams, IT organizations, and other mission partners to identify requirements, technical constraints, dependencies, and modernization opportunities
  • Define project scope, objectives, schedules, technical approaches, resource requirements, risks, and status
  • Conduct technical and project meetings and provide ongoing tracking, analysis, and reporting
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to engineers, architects, analysts, and other technical personnel
  • Review enterprise architecture and systems-engineering deliverables for technical accuracy, consistency, traceability, and quality
  • Perform and support high-level architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development
  • Apply business, systems-engineering, and technical principles to complex technical challenges and develop practical, mission-focused solutions
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to modernize legacy Army business and warfighter systems through digital engineering, automation, improved integration, and emerging technologies
  • Support the development and maintenance of automated information systems and technical architectures in compliance with DoD and Army requirements
  • Apply working knowledge of DoDAF and relevant architecture tools to support operational, system, service, capability, data, and technical architecture development
  • Support Army and DoD business transformation initiatives and the development of modernization strategies and roadmaps
  • Support development and maintenance of Business Enterprise Architecture products, transition planning, architecture methodologies, and related planning guidance
  • Develop technical documentation, briefings, recommendations, and architecture products for government and senior leadership stakeholders

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
 

DSA - Salary Pay Range
$165,000—$170,000 USD

Many of DSA's positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
