As a Lead Controls Engineer, you will develop scientific and engineering efforts related to the design of new products and services, as well as new designs for customer projects. Deliver projects through the stages of conception, verification, production and, if necessary, commercialization. Typically consists of an interdisciplinary organization executing projects to support a technology portfolio strategy. Coordinate closely with Discipline, Project and Test teams as needed.
As Lead Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team with expertise and develop leadership within the group.
- Ensuring and promoting good communication across different stakeholders and engineering disciplines.
- Showing and carrying constant work organization tightness.
- Working collaborative with a global engineering community.
- Communicating with Customers in both Portuguese and English language.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor’s in mechanical, Electrical or other Engineering bachelors is required.
- Technical experience in topside and subsea equipment including Master Controls Stations (MCS), Subsea Control Modules (SCM, DIU, etc), electrical distribution systems, subsea instruments.
- Proficiency in communicating with Customers in both Portuguese and English language.
- Knowledge of system analysis including RAM Analysis, Power / Signal Analysis, Hydraulic Analysis.
- Experience in leading/supporting the development of subsea projects.
- Skills in Engineering based software (Autocad, Visio, others)
- Quick learning and resilience skill sets to a changing scenario
Desirable
- Skilled in Engineering Database set up and configuration (SAP or Team Center);
- Masters or Pos-graduation in Engineering.
- Skilled in Engineering based software’s (Autocad, Creo, Solid Works, Visio, MSP)
- Understand the differences and application of different industrial protocols (e.g: Modbus, Profibus, etc)
- Experience supporting the assembly and test of controls equipment (including integration tests).
