This role requires deep expertise in Windows endpoint management, enterprise mobility, and Microsoft Intune, along with strong technical leadership and platform ownership.
You will shape the strategy for modern Windows management, drive standards across the endpoint ecosystem, and lead complex technical initiatives that improve security, scalability, automation, and end-user experience. The right candidate brings strong technical judgment, can influence cross-functional stakeholders, and is comfortable operating in a large-scale enterprise environment.
What you will do
- Own the architecture and technical direction of the Windows endpoint platform.
- Lead design and implementation of modern device management solutions using Microsoft Intune.
- Define and enforce endpoint standards for Windows configuration, compliance, security, and lifecycle management.
- Lead enterprise initiatives such as Windows Autopilot rollout, Intune migration, policy rationalization, and legacy management retirement.
- Design scalable solutions for application delivery, device compliance, update rings, security baselines, and configuration management.
- Partner with security, identity, networking, and application engineering teams to deliver secure-by-default endpoint experiences.
- Solve complex issues involving enrollment, policy conflicts, authentication, Conditional Access, app deployment, and device trust.
- Build automation and self-service capabilities using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and modern endpoint tooling.
- Drive root cause analysis for major endpoint incidents and establish preventive controls.
- Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar for the team.
- Evaluate new Microsoft capabilities and recommend adoption strategies based on business and technical value.
- Lead engineering efforts for test automation, endpoint validation, and quality gates for platform changes.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams when backend services, APIs, or integration tooling are needed for endpoint automation.
What we are looking for
- 8+ years of experience in Windows endpoint engineering, endpoint management, or enterprise device platform engineering.
- Deep, hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of the Windows platform, including device provisioning, update management, security configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience designing and operating modern management solutions for Windows endpoints.
- Experience with Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint, BitLocker, and endpoint compliance frameworks.
- Strong PowerShell and automation skills, including scripting and Graph-based administration.
- Experience leading migrations from legacy tools such as Group Policy-heavy environments or MECM/SCCM toward Intune-based management.
- Strong understanding of application packaging, deployment orchestration, and endpoint security controls.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, communicate technical decisions clearly, and drive alignment across teams.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical workstreams.
- Experience with test automation strategy, automated validation, or quality engineering practices.
Preferred qualifications
- Development experience in Go and/or Java Spring Boot.
- Experience building APIs, automation services, or internal tools that support endpoint engineering.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices for endpoint tooling, automation services, or internal platforms.
- Experience with co-management, device trust models, certificate deployment, and advanced Intune policies.
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise device fleet operations with thousands of endpoints.
- Experience building governance models, standards, and operational frameworks for endpoint platforms.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft cloud ecosystem and enterprise identity/security integrations.
- Experience designing or contributing to test automation frameworks and regression suites.
