Lead Engineer, Product Design and Engineering – Mechanical

As a Lead Engineer, Product Design and Engineering - Mechanical, you will be responsible for:
- Lead Global sustenance engineering process and guidelines to centralize the design engineering
- Lead the engineering change management of control valves, ensuring compliance with ASME BPVC, ANSI/ISA, API, PED / ATEX / IECEx
- Create and review 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Perform stress analysis, flow calculations, CV sizing, noise, cavitation and material selection for valve components.
- Drive design reviews, risk assessments, and design verification activities.
- Drive innovation in valve design to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality and manufacturability of components.
- Strong skill in writing engineering-controlled specifications that define the product lines.
- Establishing and maintaining consistency of a control valve product's performance, functional and physical attributes with its requirements, design, operational information, and manages changes throughout the system life cycle.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 4 year Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Have minimum 6+ years of experience in control valve Design, Engineering, Manufacturing and Valve Assembly Process.
- Strong expertise in ERP and PLM. SAP & Team center are added advantage.
- Deep understanding of control valve systems design and application, fluid dynamics, and materials for corrosive and high-pressure environments.
- Have detailed knowledge of control valve design including understanding of required material selection.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 6+ years experience in control valve design, engineering, manufacturing and assembly processes
- Expertise in ERP and PLM systems
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with Teamcenter
- Knowledge of ASME BPVC, ANSI/ISA, API, PED, ATEX, IECEx compliance requirements
- Ability to create and review 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Experience performing stress analysis, flow calculations, CV sizing, noise and cavitation analysis, and material selection
- Experience driving design reviews, risk assessments, design verification, and writing engineering-controlled specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
