Lead Engineer - Facade (Mumbai)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Engineer Facade to join our team. • Design and detailing of various façade systems and cladding types involving different materials and systems to meet the complex facade demands of the project.
• Analyze facade systems using advanced structural and thermal FEA software and prepare facade design documentation.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, as well as international and local codes related to facade design.
• Lead the RIN Façade Team to support all project stages, including design development and documentation. Mentor and guide façade engineers and designers with regards to façade systems development and performance requirements.
• Responsible for all project drafting requirements in compliance with internal QA/QC and client requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation throughout various project phases.
• Provide proactive problem-solving and demonstrate initiative to address design challenges effectively.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience with a facade contractor or consultancy.
• UAE and international experience are essential.
• Strong knowledge of facade systems, materials, and their applications.
• Proficiency in Strand7, Staad, SJ Mepla, Flixo, AutoCAD, Rhino and Revit or other similar tools.
• Solid understanding of facade-related industry standards, as well as international and local codes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
