Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and supervision of ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, BMS, and structured cabling.
Review and approve ELV designs, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and contractors to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems.
Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
Manage ELV maintenance schedules and respond to system faults or breakdowns.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and technicians.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors for technical discussions and project updates.
Ensure documentation and reporting of ELV systems are up-to-date and accurate.
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with MMUP/UPDA registration.
Certifications in ELV systems (e.g., BMS, CCTV, Fire Alarm) are preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 15 years of experience in ELV systems.
Proven experience in facilities management projects.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of ELV systems design, installation, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with international standards (NFPA, BS, IEEE, etc.).
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and ELV-specific software/tools.
Understanding of integration between ELV systems and other building services.
Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
