Purpose

You will be responsible for the delivery of the Document Control for all SPT projects including leading the staff involved and ownership of document management system (DMS).

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible for Managing, mentoring, and coordinating all SPT Projects document controllers to assure that the document management processes are implemented across all departments. This will include chairing monthly meetings with all document controllers

  • Responsible for assessment of probationary review, support Line Manager with performance appraisals, assessing objectives for all document controllers

  • Main point of contact for the SPT Projects DMS (process, access, training, communication, system development) including resolving issues as they arise daily

  • Business representative and subject matter expert (SME) on future replacement of existing DMS including specification of requirements and acceptance of any proposed solution

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining internal project document inspections for SPT projects to ensure project documents meets the required standard and address any issues as they arise

  • Represent SPT Projects as a member of the Cambuslang Office Depot Management Team

  • Responsible for on-boarding, Inductions and training for new team members on Document Control process & procedures to ensure new recruits are properly prepared for their new role

What you’ll bring

  • Experience of leading and managing a team of people directly and as a function lead

  • Experience of dealing with people at varying levels across the business

  • Working knowledge of Document Management Systems, Projectwise, ACC

  • Proven experience of working with portfolio of projects.

  • Proven experience using IBUY

  • Ability to analyse and present information in a logical and orderly manner.

  • Experienced in the use of MS Office tools and Strong administration skills.

  • Experience in report writing.

  • Quality auditing qualification.

  • Experience of ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 19650 BIM

  • Proactively assist in the resolution of issues.

  • Proven ability to work in a team environment.

  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.

  • Capacity of Empathy and good relationship skills.
