The Role
Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled D365 F&O Lead Developer with extensive experience in customizing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Finance & Operations, as well as other Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing enterprise solutions, managing technical backlogs, providing technical guidance, and ensuring successful project delivery through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Software Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in customizing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Finance & Operations.
  • Skilled in using MS SQL Server databases (version 2005 or later), SSRS, SSAS, Team Foundation Server, and Visual Studio.
  • Advanced expertise and understanding of Azure DevOps (formerly TFS), and documentation platforms such as Confluence or SharePoint.
Overall Responsibilities:
  • Design enterprise solutions and manage technical backlogs.
  • Distribute tasks, conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and overcome obstacles.
  • Engage in design discussions and collaborate with Principal Engineers and developers for comprehensive integrations from start to finish.
  • Direct involvement in development (specifically with X++), debugging, and performing both automated and manual unit tests.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to improve business processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.

  • D365 F&O, AX and ERP Implementation/Development: Extensive experience in customizing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Finance & Operations.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Strong technical knowledge of software development lifecycle.
  • Microsoft Technologies: Skilled in using MS SQL Server databases, SSRS, SSAS, Team Foundation Server, and Visual Studio.
  • Azure DevOps: Advanced expertise and proven understanding of Azure DevOps (formerly TFS).
  • Documentation Platforms: Familiarity with Confluence or SharePoint.

Additional Skills:

  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Software Architecture: Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and manage a team of technical experts.
Experience:
  • At least 6-12 years of experience in software development and leading technology projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects using emerging technologies.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the organization's overall strategy.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications in emerging technologies.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
