Role Summary:

As a Lead Developer at Founders Workshop, you will have the unique opportunity to lead a talented team of developers in creating software solutions for a diverse array of founders and entrepreneurs. Your role will encompass guiding development, mentoring and managing team members, and architecting solutions. Our Team Leads are dedicated to understanding client needs, empowering their teams, and supporting clients from concept to execution.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage Technical Aspects: Oversee all technical elements of assigned projects, ensuring quality and progress.
  • Experience in App Releases: Have over three years of experience releasing apps for the App Store and Google Play.
  • Define Architecture: Develop architecture that aligns with client goals and technological capabilities.
  • Task Oversight: Monitor development tasks, prioritize, and remove blockers to keep the team on track.
  • Team Growth: Participate in interviewing, evaluating, and mentoring developers to enhance team capabilities.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with clients, company leadership, and project teams to ensure project success.
  • Schedule Adherence: Keep development processes on schedule and within budget.

Who You Are:

  • Leader and Manager: Possess leadership or supervisory experience with strong management skills.
  • Time Manager: Efficiently manage time and adapt efforts based on shifting priorities.
  • Client and Team Focused: Aim to improve experiences for both clients and team members.
  • Challenge Embracer: Welcome challenges and adopt a "get it done" attitude.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience with Node.js, React.js, or React Native.
  • Startup Experience: Experience working with startups, entrepreneurs, and in product development.

  • Detailed oriented: Ensures that every aspect of the development is of high quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing, enhancing the usability and security of the final product.
