Job Description

Ares is seeking an exceptional Senior OneStream Solutions Specialist with a strong track record of developing and delivering solutions based on OneStream Platform This role will be within our Corporate Finance Systems Team and will work closely with other IT departments, business stakeholders and consultants as lead technical resource for all OneStream initiatives serving in different capacity as architect, developer and solutions specialist.

This role requires a reliable, diligent and adaptive professional who can function in various phases of a dynamic project and can multi-task and transition quickly. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience implementing, designing, developing, deploying and supporting all aspects of OneStream software solutions based on OneStream platform at Ares. The candidate will develop working relationships with peer analysts and key business stakeholders to deploy most effective Enterprise OneStream Solutions. Proven hands-on configurations, data modelling and software development experience with understanding of finance, accounting and procurement applications and technology. The candidate will also be able to work on and support other Corporate Applications. Good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently with multiple personnel/departments will be crucial. Success will be measured by quality of work products, ability to meet targeted objectives and user satisfaction.

Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and perform the build activities to deliver a solution from the design stage to a functional application. Being able to apply technologies and methodologies to build using tools on OneStream Platform
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to functional/development teams for new implementations, enhancements and support. Train and mentor internal staff in gaining expertise on OneStream tools/technologies and methodologies. Ensure alignment to tried & true approaches. Stay up to the latest features and releases of OneStream and participate in local user groups
  • Participate in defining scope, work estimation, builds, Proof of Concepts demos and enterprise roadmap
  • Pro-actively identify end to end automation, reporting and creative problem-solving opportunities leading to superior end user experience
  • Contribute in variety of roles in development life cycle, systems analysis, architecture, design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation related to OneStream.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation, document technical solutions and other related requirements
  • Reporting and Analytics: Strong in architecture, design and data modeling, analytical and reporting applications for the end users
  • Assist end users in application/system issues
  • Assist in maintenance and support of other Corporate Applications and projects

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computing, Finance, Information Systems or equivalent experience in related fields

Experience Required:

  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience implementing EPM/CPM, Consolidation, Planning, Budgeting, forecasting, financial close and reconciliation solutions based on OneStream Platform. Minimum 3-5 full cycle implementations and experience supporting/enhancing/upgrading production applications.
  • Expert level hands-on experience demonstrating OneStream Platform features such as business rules, workflows, dashboards, data management, API, integrations with diverse data sources, BI blend, data visualization
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Strong development experience building and managing metadata, business rules, automating data flows, and building complex reports and dashboards within OneStream application.
  • Ability to perform complex financial model design and analysis
  • Strong data modeling skills and familiarity with data warehouse concepts
  • Advanced SQL, VB.net, C# experience
  • Knowledge of financial planning, accounting and procurement business processes.
  • Experience in a professional services company, consulting firm, or agency will be a plus
  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodology using tools like JIRA, Confluence
  • Experience in global distributed team model with stakeholders in USA, Europe, Asia and India
  • Being responsible and taking ownership of the work/project performed by other Ares India team members

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

$150,000 - $190,000
