As a Delivery Excellence Specialist at ZS Associates, you will be responsible for driving delivery excellence by ensuring that delivery processes are executed with precision, consistency, and alignment to organizational standards. You will provide strategic and technical guidance to delivery teams, enabling them to implement and sustain high-performing controls and practices that support delivery efficiency and continuous improvement.
By collaborating with key stakeholders-including Delivery Managers and Leaders - you will help deliver a comprehensive view of delivery health, performance metrics, and their impact on business outcomes. Your advanced knowledge of delivery management principles and project execution will empower you to lead innovative initiatives, optimize delivery frameworks, and manage a diverse team in a dynamic and evolving technology landscape.
What You'll Do:
  • Work closely with delivery teams to embed best practices in delivery excellence, risk management, ensuring successful outcomes for aligned programs
  • Track and report operational KPIs to support data-driven decision-making. Monitor delivery performance metrics and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in delivery practices.
  • Conduct process reviews and identify inefficiencies, recommending actionable improvements.
  • Assist in designing and implementing process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and support initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in change management initiatives by supporting communication, training, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Help assess the impact of changes and gather feedback to refine implementation strategies.
  • Promote adoption of new tools, processes, and systems across teams.
  • Perform periodic project audits / reviews for the project delivery process based on CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) process areas and report non compliances, best practices followed
  • Assist in Delivery Risk governance and work closely with QRM Leads ensuring effective risk management and mitigation throughout lifecycle of projects
  • Conduct trainings on Delivery Excellence focus areas, QMS process assets and awareness on best practices
  • Maintain and ensure project process maturity (CMMI Level 3) adherence for ensuring Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) v3.0 Development & Services appraisal and accreditation process
  • Showcase expertise on Software Quality Management framework such as ISO9001, CMMI Development, CMMI Services and focus on performance and continuous improvement at project as well as organization level
  • Enhance Delivery and Operations maturity through close engagement and planned intervention across all project phases
  • Definition and regular enhancement of enterprise level Quality Management System aka Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF) supporting Development (Waterfall, Agile) as well as Operations projects (Services delivery methodology.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant field with a strong academic record.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Delivery Excellence and Quality Management
  • Strong communication & strategic influencing skills. Relevant experience working with senior leaders, building internal networks, and delivering high impact programs in complex -matrixed environments.
  • Formal training or certification in Delivery/Operations excellence, and/or 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technology Delivery excellence management, Operations excellence, Software Quality Management & Software Quality Standards or related field.
  • Familiarity with delivery excellence frameworks, industry standards, and pharma regulatory requirements (HIPPA, GXP etc)
  • Proficient knowledge and expertise in data security, risk assessment & reporting, control evaluation, design, and governance, with a proven record of implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficient in MS Office productivity suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred
  • Six Sigma Black Belt/ITIL/CMMI/ISO9001 Lead auditor/MBA or relevant Delivery excellence / Audit certification
  • Experience with Project management tools (e.g., Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, MS Project) and Quality Assurance tools
  • CMMI implementation experience (Maturity level 3 at minimum/ High maturity implementation experience preferred )
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and interacting with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving industry standards and technologies
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of tasks and meet deadlines, and reliability/dependability
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Hybrid working model:
