About the role:
We’re looking for a Lead Data & Analytics Engineer to join a leading Biosciences client in the US on a contact-to-hire basis. This role requires strong expertise in Python and SQL, preferably with experience in dbt, Snowflake, and Airflow, to help build scalable data pipelines and implement transformation logic within a modern data platform environment.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, reusable, and governed data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and data science capabilities.
This is a hands-on consulting engagement focused on designing and delivering robust, reusable, and governed data solutions. You will work closely with data engineering, analytics, and governance teams to ensure high-quality, auditable data workflows that power reporting, analytics, and data science initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
- Data engineers passionate about building scalable and efficient data pipelines.
- Professionals confident in implementing transformation logic using dbt.
- Engineers experienced in integrating multiple data sources via APIs, file systems, and databases.
- Individuals skilled at embedding data validation, monitoring, and documentation best practices.
- Strong communicators comfortable working in dynamic, client-facing environments.
What you’ll need:
- Proven hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with dbt for data transformation and pipeline orchestration.
- Experience working with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
- Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
- Strong understanding of data validation, monitoring, and data governance principles.
- Bonus: Experience with data pipeline frameworks such as DLT or similar.
