Position summary:

A BDU/Lead Coordinator must develop a relationship and build value with the client who calls in or fills in a form on SkipperBuds.com or any of SkipperBud's many subscription sites. These clients may be in any stage of the boat buying process or may be in need of one of the manyservices SkipperBud's offers for owners and clients. Many times the specialist will connect the client with a sales person who will encourage the client to visit the showroom. This position interacts daily with sales staff and other dealership personnel, as well as sales and service customers.

Duties and responsibilities include handling customer contact, follow up with sales staff and reporting on traffic from SkipperBuds.com. Monitor, control and distribute electronic leads from vendor and manufacturer websites as well as inbound phone calls. Engage customers for the purpose of finding out boat, service or storage needs according to operating instructions.Monitor and respond to data entered for purpose of follow up with the customer and the sales staff.

What is needed in this position:

  • Receiving and promptly responding to inbound calls and form submitted from various subscription sites as well as SkipperBuds.com
  • Identify a client's needs and distribute that info to the appropriate geo targeted dealership and division within the dealership
  • Making outboard calls or emails as needed to gather more information to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Ensure client concerns are addressed when transferred to the local dealership
  • Reporting and data mining to ensure quality data in the CRM data base

Attributes:

  • Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through the staff or the client
  • Written Comprehension - The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
  • Oral Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
  • Flexible Schedule, weekends required

Experience and Education:

  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is essential
